Waffen-SS, reversible camouflaged helmet-cover ('Helmbezug') being an example of the second pattern as produced from typical so-called: 'Eichenlaub'- (ie. 'oak-leave'-) pattern, cloth.
The cover retains all of its three helmet-attachment-hooks (which are constructed from aluminum and that retain a fair bit of their 'anodized'-finish).
All three (fragile) springs are present and in place (two are still functional. The cover is completely void of any makers'-designation nor size-stamp (something that is more often encountered).
It comes in a complete condition and retains all six 'loops' (present to affix camouflage-material) in place. The cover was with certainty used and worn: consequently, does it show some moderate age, wear and/or regular staining and also shows some (tiny) holes.
