1939 War Merit Medal grouping with medal, three lengths of ribbon, original issue envelope and ribbon bar. The medal is a high-quality bronze base medal that also appears to be an early war (pre-1941) production because the ring is unmarked. The original issue envelope is marked “Richard Simm & Sohne Gablonz/Reisse” on the reverse. The medal, ribbons, envelope and ribbon bar are in overall mint condition.
