Description
Original Heer lion's head parade sabre which was postwar engraved by a collector.

Brass handle in good condition. Postwar engraved initials "HS". The inside of the handle was again postwar engraved "Ehrenpreis für Hauptmann Hans Sattler. Als bester Schütze Prinz Eugen Kasserne 1937". Note the typing error "Kasserne" (correct: Kaserne). Also, the Prinz Eugen barracks in Munich was built in 1938.

Clean blade. Eickhorn maker marked.
Professionally repainted black scabbard. Original portepee and leather hanger with price tag.

Original, however "upgraded" as well as restored sabre.
