Scarce Waffen-SS field blouse for a signals troops SS-Untersturmführer. A privately tailored light weight field blouse which certainly was not worn a lot. This Waffen-SS officer must have been an Austrian. The construction of the silk lining is typically Austrian.
Officer's collar tabs hand-attached with a few stiches as they sometimes did. We do believe the tabs are absolultely original attached like that. The thread the tabs are attached is the same thread the tailor used for the sleeve eagle and the cuffband. Both are missing but you can see a clear shadow and many thread left.
One pair of loops for a field ribbon bar. You can see a ribbon was removed. The tunic most probably had an Iron Cross ribbon attached to the button hole.
No signs of a previously attached breast eagle!
