Description
Uniform grouping to Leutnant Wilhelm Grimm who was awarded the German Cross in gold as an Oberfeldwebel on 30.5.1942 serving with 3./Infanterie-Regiment 67.

Part of the grouping is a photo showing Grimm as a Leutnant wearing exactly the same tunic and trousers offered here. You can tell the tunic by many details such as its characteristic rather large pocket flaps. The visor cap is similar however it is not exactly the same since he wears metal insignia on the photo. However, the visor cap offered here is definitely his and comes with a name tag.

Heer Infanterie officers visor cap with removed cap eagle. Original attached officer's wreath badge. White piping. "OFFIZIER KLEIDERKASSE BERLIN" as well as EREL marked to the green silk lining. Intact celluloid diamond with original name tag "Grimm.Lt.". Erel marked to the sweat-band, too.

No moth damage. Nicely worn and in good shape.
Condition 2.
Size 56.

Heer four pocket field tunic with original attached insignia and many award loops.  Collar tabs attached by machine, breast eagle attached by hand as it should be. Inf.Rgt.67 Leutnant shoulder boards to sew-in. One "7" cypher is corroded and badly damaged. (See other lot for his coat! The No. "7" cypher is badly corroded as well).
Full original attached buttons with most of the original fieldgrey paint. Fine silk lining without a name or tailor's tag.

Award loops for his field ribbon bar, the German Cross in gold, his Iron Cross 1st Class, Wound Badge in silver and Infantry Assault Badge in silver. All medals can be seen on the photograph which is "Italien im Mai 1943" dated to the reverse.
