  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Marine-Chefingenieur - 8 place medal bar

Description

Untouched grouping to a naval official and Marine-Chefingenieur serving in both, the Kaiserliche Marine and Kriegsmarine for several decades. He was a 1870/71 Franco-Prussian War Veteran and part of the China Campaign. He served in WW1 and saw service as a Kriegsmarine officer after 1935. He must have been serving for over 40 years.

This grouping was sold to a local antique store by his great-grandson. The antique store owner has consigned the grouping to us. It has never been available on the market so far.

There are documents available which however the family did not want to sell at the moment. Name as well as additional service time documents might be available in near future.

Fantastic 8 place medal bar with matching field bar. Length of the field bar: 12cm. Length of the medal bar: 21cm.

1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class

Prussian Order of the Red Eagle. 4th Class. Enameled center in excellent condition. Silver. "M" marked.

Prussian Royal Order of the Crown 4th Class without swords. Gilt tombak. Blue enamel in excellent condition to both sides.

Prussian 3rd Class Long Service Award for 25 years

100th birtday Kaiser Wilhelm I. medal

China Commemorative Medal (Den siegreichen Streitern 1900 China 1901). Gilt bronze.

Hamburg Hanseatic Cross. Red enamel in excellent condition.

Order of Franz Joseph. Knight's Cross. Gilt tombak. Marked on the ring. Red enamel in excellent condition.
