Small family purchased document grouping to SS-Rottenführer Karl-Heinz Kirchhof. Kirchhof has served with 10.(gp.)/SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 4 "Der Führer" in 1944. He was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class on 15.10.1944. His award certificate comes with red "2.SS-Panzer-Division "Das Reich" stamp as well as an original ink signature of the division commander SS-Brigadeführer Heinz Lammerding. Knight's Cross recipient Lammerding was responsible for the massacre at Oradour-sur-Glane and Tulle in June 1944.
The document is folded once.
Part of this lot are postwar 1946-1946 letters Kirchhof sent home as a Prisoner of War.
