Stunning "been there" Luftwaffe flight blouse for a Unteroffizier made in 1942. A clearly worn tunic with "been there" character. Slip-on shoulder boards and collar tabs show the same sort of sun-bleached character. The yellow tabs were attached by hand after promotion and added an NCO tress. The Unteroffizier privately added an early gold collar cord to the collar for fashion reason. It is original but was not issued like that on war time tunics. However, soldiers preferred the "early style" sometimes.
The breast eagle is perfectly matching in condition and patina, however, it was re-attached by hand. It might have been hidden in one of the pockets!
Not all buttons factory but definitely period time attached.
Silk lining with an LBA S 42 depot stamp and a Reichsbetriebsnummer as well as a maker's mark. Furthermore, there are size markings.
Well worn but good condition 2.
Some minor damage. No moth holes.
