A very nice document grouping to Feldwebel Wilhelm Gottschalk serving with 8./Nachschub-Kolone-Abteilung (mot.) 902 in Africa. He also served with "Der Stahlhelm" and SA-Sturm 33/77. Born on 17.10.1912 in Ummern.
Certificate to 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords. Originally signed by General der Panzertruppe Erwin Rommel. Issued on 5.1.1942 in Libya.
Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Originally signed by General der Panzertruppe Erwin Rommel. Issued on 13.1.1942 in Libya.
Certificate to Wound Badge in black. Issued on 10.6.1942 in Africa. Signed by a Major. Most likely wounded at the Battle of Tobruk.
A nice portrait of him. It was sent on 8. December 1944 from the U.S. POW Champ Aliceville to his wife Erika.
Furthermore his "Der Stahlhelm" ID-card and driver's license, one document issued by SA-Sturm 33/73, one Feldpost as well as one POW card (dated 12.12.1945).
