An early SA Service Dagger to Obersturmbannführer Georg Arlt serving with NSDAP Ortsgruppe Rothenburg/Tauber. Made by Fritz Barthelmess, Muggendorf. Hard to find this maker.
The blade comes with the motto "ALLES FÜR DEUTSCHLAND" as well as the etching "Zur treuen Kameradschaft Georg Artl, Obersturmbannführer" on the back. "Barthelmess" maker marked. Signs of use and reduced blade (length 21 cm).
Brown wooden handle with enamel SA emblem and national eagle. Slight chipping. Early nickel fittings. "Fr" Franken stamped. Original brown factory anodized scabbard. Not dents. One screw is missing and the others have been opened once.
