Document grouping to Kapitänleutnant Alexander Teichmann. Flottillenchef of the 3. U-Bootjagdflottille. Born on 21.8.1910 in Leipzig.
Awarded with 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, German Cross in gold, Anschluss Austria Medal, Minesweeper War Badge and Naval Front Clasp in bronze. He destroyed four U-boats as well as was involved in 40 combats with enemy aircraft. Already in the Polar mission, he was able to evade 16 enemy torpedoes. Proven by the letter from 2.1.1945. In this period time letter, he describes his service very well.
German Cross in gold by Juncker, Berlin. Unmarked but a clearly Juncker made piece. All five original rivets in place. Multi-piece construction. Minor chipping to the black enamel of the swastika. Nicely worn. Weight: 58.0 gr.
