Early M40 Heer helmet covered with a thick khaki color camo paint which was typically used by Afrikakorps troops like that. The helmet is named to "Ogfr. Fleckenstein" to the inside. His name and rank were written with white paint.
The original attached leather liner is full of white fox marks which however will certainly clean off. The liner is still very soft and flexible and comes with its original cord.
NS66 marked shell. The camo paint covers about 90% of the shell.
