An impressive Heer lion head officer's sabre. Rare "Höller No. 21" pattern.
The sabre comes with a lion's head on top with typical red glass eyes. A "large" langet on the front showing an eagle with hanging wings and a swastika in his claws. The end of the crossguard displays also a lion's head. The hilt fittings are made from brass. Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. However, a fine crack in the grip.
The blade has slight pitting but in good condition. "Höller, Solingen" maker marked. Original black factory patined scabbard. No dents.
Including the matching officer's portepee.
A nicely worn sabre in good condition. Not easy to find!
