M35 Heer helmet named to "Lt. Zeuscher" with red paint. A 1938 issued M35 helmet with two original decals. The "abgenommen" dome stamp says "1938". The rivets still show early "apple-green" factory paint underneath the more darker factory paint. The might have earlier rivets in stock which were already painted apple green. The helmet comes with roughly 90% of the original grey factor paint. The color has also aged a bit and got darker. Looking at the helmet from the inside, you can see that the green color is a little brighter. Both decals are about 75-85% but are clearly worn off. It looks that this helmet was worn with a camo cloth cover or anything which constantly touched the decals.
Originally attached leather liner and chin strap. Both still very soft. Original cord to the lining which is size 56 marked.
A very nice untouched helmet in good condition 2. One of the rare M35 double decal helmets!
