Award certificate to the Squadron Clasp for Aufklärer in gold with hanger "300" to Seenot pilot Unteroffizier Wilhelm Nickisch. Nickisch served with 3.(F)/Seeaufklärungsgruppe 126. The document is signed by his Gruppenkommandeur and 29.3.1945. It is pasted on a cardboard backing and might have been displayed inside a frame once.
Nickisch had several thousand hours of flight and has rescued hundreds of men from the sea. More details on his missions as well as on his awards and awarding dates are available on the internet. There is also a portrait photo of Nickisch available.
Nikisch was awarded the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet on 27.4.1944.
