Description

Pionier Btl. 80 field tunic for an Oberleutnant made from fieldgrey doth. A classic mid-war field tunic. 

Pionier Btl. 80 was part of the 44.Infanterie-Division "Hoch- und Deutschmeister" and was involved in the battle of Stalingrad. The entire battalion was destroyed in Stalingrad in January 1943.

Original attached insignia all over with an fine hand-embroidered officers breast eagle. One original attached loop for one award and ribbon for the 1939 Iron Cross 2nd. Nice greenish silk liner.

Nice tunic in good condition without mothdamage and minor signs of age and wear.
