Salty Artillery officers visor cap for a member of 116.Panzer-Division, the so-called Windhund Division. This officer must have served with Heeres-Flak-Artillerie-Abteilung 281.
This cap is very special for two reason.
First, it has an original Division badge attached. You can clearly see the shadow and marks the Windhund Division badge left on the green band of the cap. There is no question the badge is period time attached to the cap. It looks like there was another badge attached above (top part of the cap) since there are tow tiny holes.
Second, the cap eagle is nicely zick-zack attached by machine which is very special.
The cap overall is absolutely uncleaned and dusty as it arrived. Silk lining. Sweat-band with clear signs of wear. Size 57. No moth damage.
