Original SA Service Dagger with period time so called "Röhm etching". "In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Röhm". His name was removed from the blade. The rest of the dedication is still present.
"Röhm etchings" had to be removed from SA daggers by law which is why only a very few of intact blades have survived. They had usually been taking off the entire dedication.
HENCKELS maker marked blade. Ground. Om stamped cross guard. No damage to the wooden handle. Minor chips to the SA emblem. Handle in fairly good condition. Scabbard missing.
