An absolutely untouched Küstenartillerie sidecap for an officer. 101% period time attached insignia. The cockade is attached by machine, the eagle is attached by hand as it should be. Both are EM/NCO insignia. This sidecap was period time upgraded for an officer by adding the piping. The gold piping comes with a lovely patina and matching the cap perfectly. The cotton liner is "K56" size stamped. There are two small moth holes to the top and one to the back of the cap. There is no other damage apart from that.
A stunning "been there" cap in good condition. A lot of character!
