Beschreibung

Important grouping to Hauptmann Oskar Pfeil. Pfeil served from 1924 until 1936 and left the army in 1936 as a Unteroffizier. He rejoined the Wehrmacht in 1939 serving with Inf.Rgt.501 of 290.Inf.Div.. After recovering from a wound in 1942, he became officer to the staff of the "Russisches Schutzkorps". Serbian volunteers of Russian nationality formed 5 regiments and were fighting in the Balkan States against the partisans. 

Certificate to the 3rd Class Heer Long Service Award issued on 2.10.1936 serving with Inf.Rgt.26. DIN A4. Folded twice.
Certificate to the Sudetenland Medal issued on 9.1.1940 serving with Inf.Rgt.90. DIN A4. Folded once.

Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class issued on 10.6.1940. Signed by the division commander of 290. Inf.Div. von Wrede (Knight's Cross). An extra verification to the reverse signed by Johannes Mayer (Knight's Cross with swords). Not folded.
Certificate to the Iron Cross 1st Class issued on 16.8.1941. Signed by the division commander of 290. Inf.Div. Not folded.
Certificate to the Wound Badge in black issued on 26.7.1941 serving with Inf.Rgt.501. Folded twice.
Certificate to the Infantry Assault Badge in silver issued on 1.11.1941 serving with Inf.Rgt.501. Folded once.
Certificate to the Demjansk Shield issued on 31.12.1954 serving with Inf.Rgt.501. Folded once.

Extremely rare certificate to the "Verdienst-Auszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker 1. Klasse in Silber" issued on 1.8.1944 by "Der Militärbefehlshaber Südost" General Hans Felber (also, stamped). It comes with an original ink signature. Not folded! 

Extremely rare application certificate for the Anti Partisan Badge issued on 21.3.1945 by "1. Kos.Rgt. "General Sborowsky"" and signed by a Major. It confirms that they will start the application process to be awarded the "Bandenkampf-Abzeichen" in bronze on 1.4.1945.  Folded twice.

Hauptmann promotion document issued by "Militärbefehlshaber Südost" listing Pfeil as serving with "Deutscher Verbindungsstab beim Russischen Schutzkorps".
Rare "Kampfgruppe Fischer" issued document issued on 2.5.1944 thanking Pfeil as "Ortskommandant Zvornik" for his help. It is signed by SS-Sturmbannführer Fischer.

Pfeil's personal military photo album with over 220 original prewar and France Campaign photographs including an original photo of Generalfeldmarschall Paul von HIndenburg.

Roughly 400 separate original photographs of his military time. 13 look to have been taken in Yugoslawia.
