A privately purchased officer's tropical field tunic for an Panzer troops Oberleutnant. Designed similar to an M40 model but with open lapel which hold a matching pair of zinc Panzer skulls.

Machine-applied hand-embroidered officer's breast eagle. Machine-attached Panzer officer's collar tabs. Both were certainly period time attached by the tailor. 

Hand-attached Oberleutnant shoulder boards. One slightly re-attached after getting loose.

All buttons complete and period time attached with the same thread.

Linen lining with field dressing pocket. A small size "50" stamp of the tailor.

Overall a very nice and early tunic. Most probably to walking out tunic of an Afrikakorps veteran.
