Absolutely untouched Kriegsmarine tunic for an Obermaat with 100% period time attached insignia.
Nice quality hand-embroidered breast eagle accurately attached by hand. Machine-attached collar tabs. Matching patina to the tress of the collar, the tabs and the bullion threads of the eagle.
Both sleeve patches attached by hand.
Two pair of loops for two awards.
A very characterstic black silk lining. The tunic itself was tailored from a blue gabardine cloth.
The tunic was most probably tailored outside of Germany period time. Maybe in Holland?
