Wehrmacht gas mask M30/M38 with matching container and full carrying straps. This pattern was issued to all German forces during WW2.
This set was purchased from the Radlbeck estate around 1998 and was never available on the market before!
On the mask:
Soft mask including its original filter. "73" numbered. The same number is painted to the can.
On the can:
Textbook can with complete carrying straps. With case for spare lenses including two sets The can also contains the original cleaning cloth and metal spring. Carrying straps made of webbing material. "73" painted to the bottom and top (covered)!
Color of the can: 100% period time applied camo color! Tan and green camo was used to make this a 3-color camo paint (including the factory paint).
A paper name tag "Gefr. Radlbeck 4. LSB 778" tells the name, rank and unit of the original owner.
