A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer and comes with three original photographes of the first owner. 

Paint: Original factory paint. Around 90% still present. Obvious signs of wear and age. 

Decals: The eagle decal is about 80%. The national decal is about 65%. Both decals were period time finished with cellulose varnish (Zaponlack) to make them shine brighter. You can see this lacquer already on the period time photograph of the soldier wearing exactly this helmet!

Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. Size 56.
The liner is original to the shell.

Chin strap: Soft leather. Marked.

Markings: NS64

It is very rare to find a Wehrmacht helmet with photo proof!
