Luftwaffe visor cap for EM and NCOs. Unlike an officer's cap which was always worn with a silver bullion piping, EM and NCOs had a colored piping that indicated the branch they were serving for.
Branch: Flak troops. Red piping.
Insignia: A nice set of 1st pattern aluminum insignia. The eagle has only 1 prong left.
Chin strap: textbook black strap for EM and NCOs. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: Fine linen
Celluloid diamond: intact
Maker's mark: - Leparo Fabrikmarke Leonard Paulig -
Sweat-band: "1937" dated. "I./Fl.R.7" unit marked- About half of the seam has opened. Minor sings of wear.
No moth holes, a few bits if you look closely. Generally, an unworn cap!
