Luftwaffe visor cap for EM and NCOs. Unlike an officer's cap which was always worn with a silver bullion piping, EM and NCOs had a colored piping that indicated the branch they were serving for.
Branch: Signals troops. Brown piping.
Insignia: A zinc cap eagle and aluminum wreath badge. All prongs in place. Eagle re-attached,
Chin strap: textbook black strap for EM and NCOs. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: Orange color linen.
Celluloid diamond: missing
Maker's mark: none. Size 55 marked.
Sweat-band: signs of wear. Some damage. Unit marked "L.N.Komp." (Luftnachrichten-Kompanie) as well as "I" and "Fl.Gr.??"
Signs of wear and age. No moth damage apart from one small one to the top.
