A beautiful textbook 1923 Gau Honor Badge in its original and very rare case of issue.
Brown cardboard case of issue. Brown. Period time pencil writing to the bottom: "1923 Hager Maria".
Opening and closing correctly. One corner looks a bit off center but that is to an manufacturing error. No damage to corners and edges. No damage to the paper hinge. Condition 2.
Size: 6,3cm + 6,3cm.
Excellent 1923 Gau Honor Badge made by Wächtler & Lange. "R.WÄCHTLER & LANGE MITTWEIDA" maker marked as well as 800 silver marked to the reverse.
Original attached rivets. Multi-piece construction.
Very fine enameled swastika. Minor scratches from light wear. No chips or damage.
