A WWII period time British sun helmet which was taken by a German soldier as a souvenir during the Crete Campaign in 1941. He wanted a black swastika to the left side of the helmet and wrote "Creta 2.6.41" below it.
Complete with chin strap. A size/maker tag inside. It looks to be untouched. See pictures for more details.
