German Democratic Republic "DDR" (East Germany) police station sign. Silvered metal case (magnetic). Two separately attached plastic panels. Displaying the DDR police emblem as well as the lettering "Volkspolizei Wache" on both sides. Green and white background. The panels are edged with a black rubber seal. Also, a DDR police emblem attached to the right side. A panel is loose.
Original electromechanical parts in place inside. The light bulbs are missing. Furthermore, the original screws for mounting are present.
