Well worn Heer M42 single decal helmet. ET62 marked to the shell. Size 55 marked to the lining which was fastened with an incorrect cord. The liner is still very flexible and comes with the name and "Feldpostnummer" of the first owner written on it: "Kogler Karl 21579". This number leads to Zerstörer "Hermann Schoemann" (a Kriegsmarine destroyer ship). While it is clearly a silver color Heer decal attached to this helmet, it might be worn by a Kriegsmarine soldier. The liner looks to be original (period time) to this helmet.
Overall most of the original factory paint in place. Clear signs of wear and age. Originally attached decal with signs of wear (not denazified!). It is about 80%.
