Fine U-Boot grouping to Ob.Masch.K.O.A. Kurt Löwy serving on a German u-boat in WW2. Löwy was awarded the U-Boot War Badge, the U-Boot Front Clasp in bronze as well as the Memel and Sudetenland Medal and the War Merit Cross 2nd Class.
Rare "been there" Soldbuch with original applied photograph. You will recognize Löwy by his eyes easily on the other photos. Issued 1.5.1941 by 3. Unterseebootslehrflotte. Full of entries up until January 1946. He carried this book during his POW time. Luckily only the swastika of the cover was overpainted. All other swastikas are untouched.
Award list: U-Boot War Badge (7.11.42), Sudetenland and Memel Medal (1.10.1940), War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords (1.9.44), U-Boot Front Clasp in bronze (1.2.1945). A nice 6.U-Flotille entry from 20.12.41 and one from 1.2.1942.

Original cloth version of the U-Boot War Badge. Hand-stiched on blue cloth. Reinforcement material to the reverse as well as the original paper backing. Extremely rare. One moth hole to the front. Size: 8cm + 6,5cm.

He wears his Coastal Artillery tunic with his U-Boot Badge which is very rare. Two identical photos of his U-Boot crew taken on their U-Boot. Three large size postwar replicas show Löwy on his u-boat.
Various postwar POW related documents including a pink one providing more details on his service time. We have no reference on what U-Boot Löwy has served.
