A very important piece of SS prewar history. Original photo album documenting the funeral of SS-Obersturmführer Sepp Scherbl. The album was set up by his comrades and given to his parents.

Dedicate to the parents of the "unforgettable" Obersturmführer Sepp Scherbl in gratitude. Given by Sturmbann I, 3. SS-Standarte, Sturm 2. Signed by commander of Sturm 2 SS-Unterscharführer Kobl and commander of Sturmbann I SS-Hauptsturmführer V.Geppel.
We don´t know anything on the circumstances about his death but it can well be a political murder looking this massive funeral. We can exclude a natural death.
