1st Class neck cross of the German Social Welfare Decoration. Fine white and black enamel. Gilt metal. The oak leaves and the ring were repaired (re-soldered). No chipping to the enamel.
Original red case of issue. Bordered by a gold liner to the top. Lining lettered "Ehrenzeichen für deutsche Volkspflege 1. Stufe". Bottom "Godet
Berlin" maker marked. Push-button is missing. A crack to the lining between the top and the bottom.
