Waffen-SS, hand-embroidered (and clearly worn and/or tunic-removed-) officers'-pattern arm-eagle (ie. 'Ärmeladler') as was intended for usage by the various SS-officers throughout the war.
The arm-eagle - which is executed in bright-silver coloured braid on a black-coloured- and woolen-based background - was clearly worn and/or once tunic-attached (some stitching-holes are still visible on its back): it does, moreover, show some minimal wear, age and/or staining.
The piece is 'backed' with a piece of black-coloured 'backing-paper' as is more often the case.
