Interesting Luftwaffe M40 single decal helmet. This helmet was painted rather and factory sprayed and must have been re-issued during the war. While the liner and chin strap look to be absolutely matching, they must have removed it for painting. The three rivets belong to this helmet but were attached not quite correct. The rear rivet (a little more flat) was placed to the right side of the shell. That is a good signs and must have happen during the war!
More than 90% of the original blue paint and decal!
Q66 marked shell. Size 58 stamped lining. The full size chin straps is unmarked.
