Extremely rare M34 SS helmet known to be issued to SD (Sicherheitsdienst) troops. The helmet comes in nearly unworn condition and its leather liner period time attached.
There is nearly 100% of the original fieldgrey factory color to the steel shell which is "EDELSTAHL" marked.
The liner is absolutely originally attached. All rivets come with full original paint and its prongs never opened. The original cord is still attached to the soft leather liner. The size "58" stamped flap shows a small rip and there is a larger one to the one next to it.
The chin strap is not complete. The helmet looks to be named.
Interestingly, the helmet comes with four decals applied for some good reason. The was an SS decal and a swastika attached to the wrong sides. The applied another set of decals to the correct side. So the SS rune decal you see has a swastika decal underneath and the swastika decal visible has a rune decal underneath.
Both visible decals are in very nice condition and matching the paint of the helmet perfectly!
