Rare SS Honor Ring. Attributed to SS-Obersturmbannführer Paul Herms. Unfortunately, the name of the recipient was made unrecognizable, only the letters "H" and "s" are still recognizable.
Paul Herms (born 29.9.1903) served with SS-VT Division "Germania" and "Der Führer" as well as 6. SS-Gebirgsdivision "Nord". On 20.02.1944 he becomes the command of the 1st Regiment of the 14. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (galizische No. 1). He died at the Battle of Brody in July 1944. Awarded with 1939 Iron Cross 2nd and 1st Class.
