Beschreibung

A family consigned grouping available on the market for the first time! A very rare chance to get hold of such a complete grouping with full provenience! The first owner of the uniform is shown on period time photos part of this offer wearing exactly the uniform and sabre we can offer you today! The soldier (Bruno Goller, born 1885) served with 1./Königlich Bayerisches 2. Ulanen-Regiment „König“.

A color "Ulanka" tunic with all silver buttons (Ansbach) complete. Including his epaullettes. No "1" buttons (1. Eskadron). Three sleeves badges "Für gutes Lanzenfechten". Fine silk lining.
Some moth damage. Untouched and never cleaned!

Matching green trousers. Again, all buttons complete and originally attached. Silk lining Some moth damage.

EM/NCOs field cap "Krätzchen" with both cockades originally attached. Silk lining. Purple color cap band and piping. Removed sweat-band. Only a few moth bites, no real holes.

An M1886 Ulan Czapka "Taschpka" with parade cover (Paraderabatte) as well as an extra parade cover for a one-year volunteer of 2. Ulanen-Regiment. The Bavarian front insignia was period time silvered. It might have been a gold one earlier on? Silver visor bar. EM/NCO's "Feldzeichen" cockade. White-blue color (Bavaria). Sweat-band in place. No extra holes. One nut missing and secured with a thread.
Scales are partially damaged. One chain link missing. Slightly out of shape.
Including the parade bush and the intact "Fangschnur" lanyard.

Heavy Ulan's leather boots. 60cm high. 29cm sole length. Fairly soft leather. Some repairs. Very rare!
Including two pair of spurs.

His Bavarian cavalry sword KD 1891 with white leather sling. Replaced grip. Edged blade "In Treue fest". Tip damaged. Length: 105cm. Dents to the scabbard.

A small hardcover "black & wight" photos showing him in full unifom again.
A period time framed pictures of the attack of the Bavarian Ulan soldiers near Lagarde on 11.8.1914. He must have been part of this campaign. Size: 51cm x 34cm. Wood partially damaged.
