SS photo album to SS-Oberschütze Wilhelm Schmitt serving with SS-Pz.Abt.3. There is a Feldpost letter mentions his name. It it unit stamped. It contains a rare photo of a Panzer officer wearing a pea-dot camo wrapper with matching trousers as well as a sidecap with skull but army eagle. Unfortunately that one is a postwar replica. There is one original photo of Hitler in his car.
Many pictures are subtitled. It looks like a postwar handwriting of a very old man so the veteran might have added these notes by him self. He might have also set this album up postwar and added magazine bits. There is a SS-Nederland, a SS-Nordland as well as a SS-Pz.Abt.3 connection since these units are mentioned.
