Luftwaffe M38 helmet which was only issued to German paratroopers.
Typical helmet shell with an "ET69" maker and size stamp to the side.
Liner: Flexible leather. Clear signs of wear.
Markings: "Kopfweite Gr. 58" size marked and "Stahlhelm Gr.68" shell size marked. Maker marked.
Screws: Original to the shell. White camo paint remaining.
Chin straps: missing
Paint: Factory paint with original white camo paint remaining. The white paint was added with a brush. Tears! The white camo paint was then overpainted with grey color period time! The shell comes with over 85% covered with period time paint. White or grey.
Decal: one eagle decal. Mostly covered with original camo paint but some part still visible.
