Excellent Third Reich "Bahnschutzpolizei" (railway protection) officer's dagger. 2nd pattern. Made by Eickhorn, Solingen.
Unmarked blade with minor patina spots which can be cleaned off. Nice black handle without signs of wear. The pommel and crossguard are made from aluminium. With the matching portepee and Eickhorn maker's tag. Both are also very hard to find.
Nice steel scabbard without dents. Including the original dagger hangers. Silvered zinc metal parts. "D.R.G.M." marked. Both snap clips are fully working.
