Depicted here by the marine painter Willy Stöwer is the twin-screw fast steamer Deutschland, which was launched in Stettin in 1900 - one of the most advanced ships of its time. Very beautiful gloss and rich colours, surface with a few matt areas and occasional scratches The support material is bulbous towards the centre. Signed in the medallion of the motif lower right.
