The depiction must be of the RMS Aquitania, the most modern of the Cunard Line's three ‘four stackers’, which was launched in 1913. The ship sailed between Europe and America and was nicknamed ‘The Ship Beautiful’ in the 1920s due to its futuristic appearance and elegant furnishings - seen here in a grandiose Art Deco design with a fresh high-gloss finish and vibrant colours. Surface virtually scratch-free. Marked: Frankfurter Emaillirwerke Neu-Jsenburg, dimensions: approx. 73 x 48 cm. The imposing format is really very impressive in this fascinating condition!
