Description

Privately purchased field tunic for a Gebirgsjäger Unteroffizier. Interestingly, this tunic comes with "wiesengrün" piped boards which would be a for a Jäger. These boards are very rare.

The breast eagle is missing. the Gebirgsjäger collar tabs are period time attached by machine. Period time machine-attached Gebirgsjäger Edelweiss sleeve badge. Partially damage.

Fine silk lining.Parade tunic buttons attached. Loops for three awards, a ribbon bar and a Close Combat Clasp. The tunic comes with a restored 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class (26 marked) and a nice "103" marked Wound Badge in silver.

No moth damage. Minor staining to one sleeve.

Including a PETRIX maker marked flashlight attached the former owner to the shoulder board button.

Medium size.
