Untouched Wehrmacht M42 helmet with an original white winter camo paint to the shell. This helmet was purchased straight from the family and was never availble on the market before! An extremely rare chance to purchased an "unmessed with" winter camo helmet!

M42 helmet size marked "66" to the shell. The maker's mark is very hard to read. "1942" dated and maker marked chin strap absolutely original to this helmet. 
Originally attached rivets, ring and liner. The prongs very never opened! Original liner cord is well. Size "58" stamped to the soft leather liner. 

The inside of the shell shows quite of bit of light rust but also pitting. The outside was protected well by the white camo paint, however, the paint shows a dark patina and also some rust.

The white camo paint was brushed. It is still covering round 90% of the outer shell including its rivets.

We tend to a Heer example here since the remaining color to the inside looks to be dark grey rather than blue.
