Kriegsmarine M40 single decal helmet made by Quist. "Q66" maker and size marked to the shell. Gold color single egal decal. Clearly correctly "gold" for Kriegsmarine and no ex-silver Heer decal which turned into gold color due to a patina.
Most of the original factory color was worn off. The decal is about 75%.
Re-attached attached original liner with parts of the original cord in place. A few small rips. "D.R." named. The prongs are very flat. 1941 dated and maker marked chin strap in good condition.
