An early 1938 dated visor cap which looks to be constantly worn through the war. It was worn by a Gebirgsartillerie (mountain trooper artillery) and comes with a zinc Edelweiss badge attached.
Hand-embroidered wreath badge and cap eagle. Both attached by hand. The eagle was attached very sloppy. Red piping. Typical orange color lining with a size "57,5" stamp. Missing celluloid diamond.
LAGO BRESLAU 1938 maker marked to the inside of the sweat-band. One crack to the inside stabilization band which you can only feel, not see.
