Fine Luftwaffe flight jacket in very nice condition. Blue pattern with connects to electrically heat it. The connect to the sleeve is still in place where the connection to the jacket liner was removed. Very fine purple velvet lining and collar. No moth damage. Construction from blue cotton.
ZIPP marked sleeve zippers. Pretty corroded so we did not try if they are still working. It looks that they are not. PRYM 6 buttons. Most with a lot of rust.
One button and flap missing to one sleeve. Vertical front zippers looks like a replacement. It is OPTI marked.
Overall a nice jacket which was hardly ever worn and was incorrectly stored over the decades which allowed all metal parts to rust and corrode.
