Heer ornamented service tunic

Description
Beautiful ornamented field blouse to Kavallerie Major Heinrich Hoffer. Awarded the German Cross in gold on 6.1.1942 as a Rittmeister (Hauptmann) serving with Aufklärungs-Abteilung 121. 
 
A very fine privately purchased tunic tailored by FRITZ KRONACHER LÜNEBURG. Original applied name tag named to "Herr Oberl. Hoffer". 12.8.38 dated. Fine "goldgelb" piping along the button line and around the sleeves. 
 
Hoffer ordered this tunic as a young Leutnant. It was promoted up to the rank of a Major. Fine Kav.Rgt.13 boards with golden cyphers. Period time attached insignia. Nicely aged dark officer's collar tabs attached by machine. Very fine officer's breast eagle attached by hand. One button underneath his right shoulder board for an aiguillette. 
 
Ribbons for the Iron Cross 2nd Class and the East Medal. Many award loops! Three loops to his right breast pocket for hi German Cross in gold. Seven loops for his ribbon or medal bar. Many loops for four awards. Original buttons all over.
 
A very nice tunic! Only a very few light moth bites and two small moth holes behind his left shoulder board.
