Privately purchased officer's mountain cap (Bergmütze) for Gebirgsjäger. Well worn and sun bleached. Compare covered and uncovered pieces of the cloth for its original color.
Silver twisted officer's cap. Machine-woven "t-eagle" for officers attached by machine. It looks to be the same thread which was used for the rest of the cap. Hand-attached buttons and zinc Gebirgsjäger Edelweiss cap badge.
Brown sweat-band with a small piece missing. Grey linen lining. "Militaria-Sammlung Christian Frech" stamped as well as stamped with his personal inventory number.
